Echo Combat Livestream – Open Beta Online VR FPS Multiplayer

Echo Combat Livestream – Open Beta Online VR FPS Multiplayer

The Open Beta for Echo Combat is live and running until Sunday. If you have Oculus Home installed already, you may have noticed that the Echo games have undergone a bit of re-branding. Instead of Echo Combat and Echo Arena existing in the launch separately, there is now just Echo VR and when you load into the lobby you pick which game you want.

Echo Arena is the disc-based mixture of Quidditch and Soccer that we loved last year in our review, while Echo Combat is a zero-G shooter that blends Overwatch with Echo-style movement. It’s a ton of fun as well. If you missed it, we livestreamed yesterday for over an hour, but due to server issues only played a handful of games in that time.

We’ll be livestreaming Echo Combat on PC using Rift with Touch starting very soon (which means we’ll start at approximately 3:00PM PT) and aim to last for about an hour or so. We’re going to use Restream to hit both YouTube and Twitch at the same time!

You can see our archived streams all in  this one handy Livestream playlist over on the official UploadVR YouTube channel (which you should totally subscribe to by the way). We’re also rebooting our Twitch channel too.

Let us know which games you want us to livestream next and if you want to see more Echo Combat in the future. Comment with any feedback down below!

Gunheart Livestream: Fast-Paced Co-Op VR Shooter

Gunheart Livestream: Fast-Paced Co-Op VR Shooter

If you asked most Rift and/or Vive users what their favorite VR games were, you’d probably hear a lot of the same answers. The massive, sprawling worlds of Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR likely rank very highly, but so does the fast-paced action of Beat Saber. For most people, shooting down enemies in multiplayer with friends is still what gamers will come back to the most, but not everyone wants a hardcore military simulation every time like Onward.

This is a big reason that Robo Recall, the free shooter from Epic Games, made such a big splash on release. Now if you took that concept and expanded it to include multiplayer, you’d be pretty close to what the team of shooter veterans at Drifter Entertainment have accomplished with Gunheart. This is a super fast-paced VR shooter (it has non-VR support too!) that is all-out action. Evasion is an upcoming shooter with a lot of similar ideas.

We’ll be livestreaming Gunheart on PC using Rift with Touch starting very soon (which means we’ll start at approximately 3:30PM PT) and aim to last for about an hour or so. We’re going to use Restream to hit both YouTube and Twitch at the same time!

Budget Cuts Livestream: Pre-Release Stealthy Robot Murdering

Budget Cuts Livestream: Pre-Release Stealthy Robot Murdering

Budget Cuts is releasing soon later this week and we’ve had access to a press preview version of the game for the last few days ahead of launch. While our reviewer has ran into several game-breaking bugs on both Rift and Vive (and has only published a review-in-progress so far) we still wanted to livestream the game ahead of launch while we are able.

Over the years this has been considered one of VR’s most anticipated games, originally being showcased alongside the HTC Vive years ago. In the game you’ll take on the role of a robot trying to escape an ominous corporation with a very Portal-esque vibe about it using a mixture of stealthy and thrown-object combat.

We’ll be livestreaming Budget Cuts today on PC using an HTC Vive starting very soon (which means we’ll start at approximately 3:40PM PT) and aim to last for about an hour or so. We’re going to use Restream to hit both YouTube and Twitch at the same time!

You can see our archived streams all in  this one handy Livestream playlist over on the official UploadVR YouTube channel (which you should totally subscribe to by the way). We’re also rebooting our Twitch channel too.

Beat Saber Livestream: Playing Dozens Of Custom Downloaded Songs

Beat Saber Livestream: Playing Dozens Of Custom Downloaded Songs

Now that users can mod in their own custom songs for Beat Saber (lots of them are uploaded to Beat Saver for easy access) the game’s already starting to feel more robust. When it launched with just 10 tracks it was still an easy recommendation, but now it’s only growing to become one of VR’s most exciting, addictive, and varied music games.

Here’s our full Early Access review for more about why we love it.

We’ll be livestreaming Beat Saber on PC using Rift with Touch starting very soon (which means we’ll start at approximately 3:20PM PT) and aim to last for about an hour or so. We’re going to use Restream to hit both YouTube and Twitch at the same time!

Beat Saber Livestream: VR Rhythm Game On Hard And Expert Modes Only

Beat Saber Livestream: VR Rhythm Game On Hard And Expert Modes Only

If you haven’t heard yet, the hyper-addicted VR rhythm game, Beat Saber, is finally out which means you can slice and dice boxes with arrows on them like a pro now on Rift or Vive. It’s not a full launch, just Early Access, which means there are only a handful of songs and one game mode, but it’s already one of the very best VR music games around.

Here’s our full Early Access review for more about why we love it.

We’ll be livestreaming Beat Saber on PC using Rift with Touch starting in about a half hour as of the time this is being published (which means we’ll start at approximately 12:45PM PT) and aim to last for about an hour. We’re going to use Restream from now on to hit both YouTube and Twitch at the same time!

We’ll continue livestreaming VR games a lot more often now and you can see our archived streams all in this one handy Livestream playlist over on the official UploadVR YouTube channel (which you should totally subscribe to by the way). We’re also rebooting our Twitch channel now as well.

Skyrim VR Livestream: Helgen Reborn City Rebuilding Mod

Skyrim VR Livestream: Helgen Reborn City Rebuilding Mod

We’re back again with more Skyrim VR! It’s the game that just keeps on giving. Even though we’ve installed well over 100 mods at this point, including lots of visual overhauls and graphics mods, there are still thousands more out there left to discover that add all sorts of new items and brand new questlines.

Last time for Friday the 13th we featured some horror mods, like one that added the mansion from Resident Evil, but for today we’re focusing specifically on the Helgen Reborn mod. This mod adds a fully realized questline to rebuild the entire city of Helgen after it was ravaged by Alduin’s attack at the start of the game. Frankly, this is a storyline that should have been included in the base game by Bethesda and it’s very, very well done.

We’re aiming to start the stream pretty much as soon as possible so if you’re reading this then we’re either streaming already or getting ready to stream — unless it’s over! That means we’re starting right around 1:30PM PT.

You can watch our big Skyrim VR mod showcase here or our gameplay of a voice control mod in action here.

Skyrim VR Livestream Archive: Resident Evil And Other Horror Mods

Skyrim VR Livestream Archive: Resident Evil And Other Horror Mods

Update: This post was originally published on April 13th, 2018 (Friday the 13th) but has been republished today as an archived livestream for Halloween. Fast forward to about 2:30 to skip past some technical issues.

Original: Happy Friday the 13th! In celebration of one of the spookiest days of the year (still not as scary as Halloween, even though both have their own titular film franchises) we’ve decided to do something a little bit different for our Skyrim VR mod showcase livestream today. Last time we found the Master Sword and other Zelda items, but this time it’s all about horror mods!

We’re going to explore the creepy mansion from Resident Evil rebuilt entirely inside Skyrim, take on some cursed children’s toys, and fight an iconic enemy from another popular horror game series. You’ll have to tune-in to find out who!

We’re aiming to start the stream pretty much as soon as possible so if you’re reading this then we’re either streaming already or getting ready to stream — unless it’s over! That means we’re starting right around 3PM PT. And unlike in past VR game streams, this won’t just be on YouTube.

You can watch our big showcase here or our gameplay of a voice control mod in action here.

Skyrim VR Livestream: Zelda Mod Relics Of Hyrule Showcase

Skyrim VR Livestream: Zelda Mod Relics Of Hyrule Showcase

The day that Nintendo embraces VR and lets us embark on immersive adventures in Hyrule will likely be the day I quit my job, leave my family, and figure out a way to live entirely inside the digitized halls of the Temple of Time. But that day is probably pretty far off so in the meantime we’ve got modders to help us out.

Relics of Hyrule is a (for lack of a better term) legendary Skyrim mod that adds literally hundreds of items and bits of lore from Nintendo’s iconic The Legend of Zelda game series. It doesn’t incorporate any new quests, but instead drops breadcrumb trails and obscure hints throughout the entire game for players to follow and uncover forgotten relics and items of ancient power ripped directly from over two decades of Zelda lore. That includes the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Majora’s Mask, and a ton of others.

For today’s livestream we’re going to focus 100% on this mod, Relics of Hyrule, for our first real Skyrim VR mod showcase. I’ve gone through and noted locations of several key items which I’ll delve down and retrieve on the stream and then begin working through one of the over a dozen brand new dungeons on my quest to acquire the mythical Ocarina of Time itself.

We’re aiming to start the stream later today in about a half hour from the time of this article’s publication, which comes out to 1:30PM PT and we’ll plan on running it for approximately two hours:

We’ll continue livestreaming VR games a lot more often now and you can see our archived streams all in this one handy Livestream playlist over on the official UploadVR YouTube channel (which you should totally subscribe to by the way). Skyrim VR Livestream: Voice Control Mod Showcase

Skyrim VR Livestream: Voice Control Mod Showcase

Skyrim VR has been out for about a week now and we’ve spent a lot of time modding it to Sovngarde and back. In addition to the list of over 40 recommended Skyrim VR mods, we’ve got a guide up on how to get started with mods, tips on increasing immersion, and even highlights on mods like this one, to replace the Oculus controller models with hands. But now, a new mod recently released that lets players equip spells and shouts using just their voice. To put it simply, it’s a game changer.

We’re so excited by this mod that we decided to focus today’s livestream on it. We’ll be livestreaming the “Way of the Voice” mod in Skyrim VR on PC using Rift with Touch, along with other modded content, starting in about a half hour as of the time this is being published (which means we’ll start at approximately 2PM PT) and aim to last for about two hours. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

We intend to start livestreaming VR games a lot more often now and you can see our archived streams all in this one handy Livestream playlist over on the official UploadVR YouTube channel (which you should totally subscribe to by the way).
