Valve Index Pre-Launch Livestream: Blade & Sorcery,

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

We’re livestreaming with the Valve Index PC VR headset today!

Now that E3 is behind us we can look at the VR gaming landscape as it exists today instead of being pre-occupied with what isn’t out yet. The Index is shipping this week from Valve Corporation and we’re be previewing some gameplay with the new Index controllers and head-mounted display. We’re planning to show off Aperture Hand Lab made by Cloudhead Games as well as Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades from RUST LTD. We’ll probably make our way into other apps with support for the new Index controllers as well, including the experimental Moondust testbed.

Here is where you can find today’s stream once it starts:

Thursday, June 27th:

And we livestreamed yesterday (June 26th) for two and a half hours already. Here is yesterday’s if you want to check it out.

Wednesday, June 26th:

Tune in live to ask use any questions about our experience with the Valve Index. We are reserving our final judgment on the hardware for a full review Friday morning but more apps are getting support for the Index controllers every day, so we wanted to show off the new hand interactions ahead of the launch.

You can see our most recent past archived streams over in our YouTube playlist. There’s lots of good stuff there so make sure and subscribe! You can also now Join our YouTube Community as a member to get special perks like in-video shout outs, custom emojis and badges in chat, and the ability to vote on future video content.

And please let us know which games or discussions you want us to livestream next! We have lots of VR games in the queue that we would love to show off more completely.

Swords of Gargantua Livestream – Sword Fighting On Oculus Quest

Swords of Gargantua Livestream – Sword Fighting On Oculus Quest

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

Now that E3 is behind us we can look at the VR gaming landscape as it exists today instead of being pre-occupied with what isn’t out yet. To do that, we’re gonna take a look back at an Oculus Quest game that released just before gaming’s biggest event: Swords of Gargantua.

For the stream I will be playing Swords of Gargantua on Oculus Quest using Chromecast to stream, you can read more about that setup in the guide linked above. This is a co-op game so maybe I’ll find some people to play with. It’s also on Home for Rift with cross-play as well as on Steam — although it’s unclear if Quest has cross-play with that version too.

The stream is planned to start around 1:00 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about an hour or so. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR YouTube directly. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below:

Blood & Truth and Trover Saves The Universe PSVR Combo Livestream

Blood & Truth and Trover Saves The Universe PSVR Combo Livestream

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

Two really big new PSVR games released today with Blood & Truth and Trover Saves the Universe. One is Guy Ritchie-style action thriller full of guns, explosions, and epic set piece moments, while Trover on the other hand is ridiculously hilarious and bizarre action platformer from the mind of Justin Roiland. These games could not be more different but both are very good in their own ways.

For the stream I will be playing both games on PSVR (Blood & Truth with two PS Move controllers and Trover with a DualShock 4) on a standard PS4.

The stream is planned to start around 2:30 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about an hour or two. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR YouTube directly. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

Valve Index Livestream: Controllers And Headset Preview

Valve Index USB Expansion Slot Front

Today we’ll be streaming some preview gameplay with the Valve Index headset and wearable controllers.

The headset is an easy upgrade for many Vive owners as it works with their existing tracking base stations and controllers for a headset-only upgrade at $499. The kit became available for pre-order earlier this month and new orders won’t ship till later this year. Valve sent us the full Index kit to test and review and we’ve taken it through its paces in Arizona Sunshine, Vacation Simulator, Aperture Hand Labs and other apps designed to use the new controllers based on the “Knuckles” developer kits.

We’ve been spending a lot of time with Oculus Quest in recent weeks and streaming from a wireless headset is both freeing and fun. Index, though, is a PC-powered headset with a nice long cord to allow full room-scale freedom with higher quality graphics. For those unfamiliar, the SteamVR Tracking base stations included in the $1,000 package don’t need to be wired back to the PC to operate. You just place them in the corners of the room, plug them in and and forget about them.

We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR YouTube directly. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

We’re trying something special today with an Oculus Rift S split screen VR multiplayer livestream! David is streaming from his PC and Ian is screen sharing his game and camera to enable split screen VR multiplayer on the stream for you all to see.

For the stream I will be playing on an Oculus Rift S as the host computer joining Ian’s game. Using Discord Nitro we are sharing his screen to my PC and I’m organizing all that in OBS to make it emulate the old-school days of split screen multiplayer — but in VR!

The stream is planned to start around 2:30 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about an hour or so. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR YouTube directly. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

Oculus Quest Launch Day Giveaway Livestream

Oculus Quest Launch Day Giveaway Livestream

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

Do you know what day it is? It’s the day that both the Oculus Rift S and the Oculus Quest release officially! So naturally we are back with some more wireless, standalone roomscale streaming for all of your beautiful eyeballs to see.

Worth noting, we are also giving away DOZENS of copies of Quest games via download code during the livestream today!

Yesterday we had a ton of fun showing off a bunch of Oculus Quest games and today we’re back with the same setup and even more games. We’re going to do our best to try and stream all day long using a battery pack to keep the Quest going. The visuals will be a fisheye view of the right eye, but we can now stream the entire library not just what’s available via Chromecast. And now we have finally decided to just stream directly to YouTube since that’s where the vast majority of our audience is located. This way we can focus specifically on that platform.

The stream is planned to start around 10:30 AM PT and we’ll aim to last for as long as we can, hopefully four hours or more. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR YouTube directly. You can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

Do you know what day it is? It’s the day before the Oculus Quest releases. Tomorrow the Oculus Quest standalone VR headset finally releases on May 21. So naturally we are back with some more wireless, standalone roomscale streaming for all of your beautiful eyeballs to see.

Last week we had a ton of fun showing off lots of new games we hadn’t played before and today we’re back with the same setup. Oculus Quest Launch Library Livestream: Vader, Beat Saber, VRChat, Rec Room, And More

oculus quest content

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

We’re nearly there. This is the last Friday before the last weekend before the Oculus Quest finally releases on May 21. So naturally we are back with some more wireless, standalone roomscale streaming for all of your beautiful eyeballs to see.

Yesterday we had a ton of fun showing off social VR apps like Rec Room and VRChat on Quest and we’re back with a new setup this time. The visuals will be a fisheye view of the right eye, but we can now stream the entire library not just what’s available via Chromecast. And once again and we’re also going to stick with the format we’ve been using of going back to Restream instead of just doing Twitch. This way we can hit as many platforms as possible and it makes the stream much more active and lively with chat.

During the stream we will hop into as many Quest games as we can, but we will focus mostly on stuff that we have streamed much before. That means apps like Job Simulator, Tilt Brush, Drop Dead, and more.

The stream is planned to start around 12:00 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about two hours or more. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR Facebook page and will also be using Restream to go directly to YouTubePeriscope, and Mixer as well. Either way, you can see the full stream embedded right here down below once it’s up:

Oculus Quest Livestream: Wireless Roomscale VR Games

Oculus Quest Livestream: Wireless Roomscale VR Games

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide for general tips and this guide specific to our Oculus Quest setup.

Greetings! With the Oculus Quest less than a week away from launching we wanted to dive back in for some more wireless roomscale streaming for all of your beautiful eyeballs to see.

Since we had great success last week streaming wirelessly we’re going to do the same setup again and we’re also going to stick with the format we’ve been using of going back to Restream instead of just doing Twitch. This way we can hit as many platforms as possible and it makes the stream much more active and lively with chat.

During the stream we will hop into as many Quest games as we can, but unfortunately it will likely end up being mostly the same batch as before since we don’t have access to any new apps yet.

The stream is planned to start around 1:30 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about an hour or so. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR Facebook page and will also be using Restream to go directly to YouTubePeriscope, and Mixer as well. Oculus Quest Games Livestream – Standalone VR Is Here!

oculus quest insight

Curious about how we livestream the way we do? Then look no further than this handy guide!

Well, hello there! Yesterday we streamed mostly Vader Immortal and showed off a few other things in the Quest. For today, we’re back to streaming Oculus Quest stuff but this time we’re going to bounce around between various games and apps on the fly.

For now we’re going to stick with the format we’ve been using of going back to Restream instead of just doing Twitch. This way we can hit as many platforms as possible and it makes the stream much more active and lively with chat.

During the stream we will likely hop back into Vader Immortal, play some Beat Saber, try Creed, and maybe give Superhot a whirl. If we’re feeling dangerous we might even dip our toes into Face Your Fears 2.

Note: Since the Oculus Quest is an untethered wireless headset you will not have to plug it in to use it but we need to use cords in order to keep the stream high-quality.

The stream is planned to start around 2:00 PM PT and we’ll aim to last for about two hours or so. We’ll be livestreaming to the UploadVR Facebook page and will also be using Restream to go directly to YouTubeTwitchPeriscope, and Mixer as well.
