There are literally two weeks to go until Christmas Day – yup, just 14 short days left to go – so if you haven’t bought everything then it’s time to pick up the pace. As is common practice nowadays, the videogame industry will be holding plenty of sales, with VRFocus expecting Steam and Oculus Store to announce theirs soon. Beating the pair of them is Viveport, which has begun announcing a range of festive deals.
To begin with, starting this Thursday 13th, all Viveport members can get a 10 percent off coupon code for their entire purchase, while Subscribers will get 20 percent off. If you’ve never tried Viveport Subscription before then you can start a free 14-trial to get 20 percent off.
That’s not all, Viveport will be offering up to 95 percent of videogames and apps through the store starting the same day.
There are other deals coming which Viveport hasn’t gone into detail about just yet. Customers will have the opportunity to get 40 percent off their entire purchase, while Viveport’s 3,6 and 12 month Subscription packages will also see reductions from 19th December. Lastly, the retailer will be giving away a free undisclosed videogame with any purchase of a subscription package. Those details are likely to arrive next week.
Viveport supports both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, with the latter being added only a few months back in September.
At present Viveport is still running its 100 percent revenue share initiative with developers until the end of the year, as well as submissions still being open for the Viveport Developer Awards, with winners to be revealed during the 2019 Game Developers Conference (GDC).
