Infinity Disk Takes Your Frisbee Skills to the Next Level

There’s nothing like a game of frisbee in the park or on the beach to pass a few hours on a nice summers day. Now it’s winter going outside to play a game is probably the last thing on your mind, so thankfully indie developer Ralph Schaedler has created Infinity Disk as a virtual reality (VR) alternative, set to launch later this week on Steam.

Infinity Disk

Unlike CCP Games’ disk-based multiplayer Sparc which is more about competitive esports and beating other players online,  Infinity Disk is a single-player, puzzle style experience involving enemies and plenty of opportunities to test your frisbee skills.

Your mission is to throw, catch, bounce and defend the frisbee from enemies to get to the next level. With 12 levels in total, they get ever more abstract as they progress. Alongside the main campaign, there’s also an Arcade mode where players can compete for highscores, using bounce combos and speedruns for the best points and times.

Schaedler also has plans for additional content, with future updates looking to add a co-op mode and more levels.

Infinity Disk will launch via Steam this Wednesday, 7th November, supporting HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. There will also be a version hitting Oculus Store the same day.
