Competition: Rev Up Your Engines For Some Kart Racing Action With VR Karts On PSVR

When it comes to kart games it’s very difficult to go long without mentioning Mario Kart. (You see what I mean?) But whilst Nintendo’s racing franchise might be the standard bearer it’s going to be some time before you get a chance to get racing for the Mushroom Cup in virtual reality (VR). Unless you want to take a trip to Japan that is. – and that’s rather expensive. Fortunately Mario Kart is not the only kart racer on the block and there are several that have already come to VR that are pretty good too.

One of the most well known and most popular is VR Karts by independant developer Viewpoint Games. In VR Karts players can hop in the driver’s seat of their own customised kart and race against each other through a number of environments as they collect power ups and use weapons to gain the upper hand over other racers. The fun and family-friendly racing game is designed specifically for VR, making it a smooth driving experience. Following a launch on Early Access back in 2015, the game has come to Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and also the Samsung Gear VR via way of mobile conversion VR Karts Sprint. The racer has also made its way to PlayStation VR – although only in Europe at this time.

We’ve teamed up with Viewpoint Games to offer you the chance to win one of five codes for the game on PlayStation VR.

You have just under a week in order to enter as you’ve until Friday, 14th July 2017. The competition is open to everyone, though please note you’ll need to have an EU PlayStation account in order to claim the code – and a PlayStation VR in order to enjoy it.To enter all you have to do to is use the app below and be either a follower of VRFocus on Twitter, be a subscriber to our YouTube channel or visit our Facebook or Google+ pages.
