Preta: Vendetta Rising Releasing for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR

Illion Games have confirmed today at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 that their new game Preta: Vendetta Rising will be releasing for a variety of virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays. E3 has been great for VR news so far, and is showing no sign of slowing.

Preta: Vendetta Rising is an action RPG that’ll be releasing for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. The game will allow for 4 player multiplayer, and cross-platform play, so PC players will still be able to enjoy the game with their PlayStation VR owning friends.

In the world of Akirion, a deadly epidemic has destroyed the peace of the land, transforming the living into flesh-eating Pretas. Those left alive are forced to band together and arm themselves against the impending disaster. You play as a mercenary hired by Akirots – your job will be to explore the world, despatch Pretas, and save the land.

The campaign promises more than 50 hours of gameplay, support for both VR and non-VR modes, a crafting system, co-op multiplayer raids and campaigns and much more.

Preta: Vendetta Rising will receive an Early Access period on PlayStation VR, Steam and Oculus Store this Summer, with a full release expected in Fall 2017.
