CEEK VR Announces Partnership With World Of Dance

CEEK VR have announced that they will be partnering with the national hit TV competition series and brand, World of Dance to provide a range of virtual reality (VR) content for fans of the series to enjoy.

The company aims to make VR experiences universally accessible and enjoyable for as wide an audience as possible. With this new partnership, fans of the popular series will now be able to experience more of the series like never before thanks to the immersive applications of VR.

With World of Dance holding events spanning 30 countries some of the locations for the World of Dance competitions include Berlin, GermanySt. Petersburg, Russia , Krasnoyarsk, RussiaWarsaw, Poland, Niigata, Japan, Modiin, IsraelJohannesburg, South AfricaBeijing, ChinaChennai, India, and Brisbane, Australia. Now, fans will be able to watch the show with CEEK VR and find themselves right in the heart of the show as they take the best seat in the house to watch the competition as it happens.

Pitched as the experiences that ‘money can’t buy’, CEEK VR offers viewers an exclusive chance to see a range of content like never before all within immersive VR. NextVR Partners with NBC for Weekly World of Dance VR Companion Series

NextVR, the virtual reality (VR) company synonymous with sport and concert livestreaming, has announced a new partnership with NBC to produce an exclusive weekly companion series for the broadcasters World of Dance programme.

World of Dance is a new competition series being judged by a team of superstars known for their dancing skills – Jennifer Lopez (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, NE-YO and host/mentor Jenna Dewan Tatumand.

For NextVR’s companion programme each week fans will be able to see backstage rehearsals, main stage performances, judge reactions, and sit down interviews with the judges. This will provide fans a unique perspective on the solo, duo, and group dancers spanning multiple genres going head to head for the $1 million USD prize.

“We’re constantly expanding our content portfolio, and with this NBC partnership we can transport fans directly on the stage of NBC’s ‘World of Dance’ for an immersive experience that can only be delivered in VR,” said David Cole, CEO at NextVR in a statement. “Not only are we producing exclusive programming, fans can also relive some of the best performances from a unique perspective.”

NextVR’s content will be available following the live broadcast for free via the NextVR app. As with all NextVR content viewers will need either a Samsung Gear VR or Google Daydream headset, with a compatible smartphone, then download the NextVR app from the Oculus store for GearVR or the Google Play store for Daydream.
