A first-person shooter (FPS) videogame, Kartong – Death by Cardboard! blends sequences of action and stealth into a world of miniaturised mayhem. With its 15 different difficulty levels, randomised city maps and toy enemies, the Early Access edition of the videogame is fully playable from start to finish.

“The game has a rogue-lite gameplay and your goal is to escape the city of Kartong, which just happens to be a maze filled with evil toys, tiny traps and weird experiments,” explains Robert Johansson, Level Designer at SVRVIVE Studios.

The first title from SVRVIVE Studios, SVRVIVE: The Deus Helix, proved a popular first-person puzzle solving experience. SVRVIVE Studios suggest that the development of the videogame was inspired by adventure classics Myst and Riven, and boasts one of the longest playtimes of any virtual reality (VR) videogame to date. SVRVIVE: The Deus Helix launched late last year and is currently available to purchase via Steam exclusively for the HTC Vive.

Few details are currently known about SVRVIVE Studios’ follow-up, Kartong – Death by Cardboard, aside from a teaser video (embedded below) and a few concept images. A logo has also been revealed, again revealing very little about the videogame.
