Here’s Every Game Announced for PSVR 2

Sony has revealed the price and launch date for PSVR 2 in addition to its launch day lineup for PSVR 2. There’s a ton of stuff coming down the pipeline though as we approach the February 22nd launch of PSVR 2, so check out our mega roundup of everything confirmed both by Sony and indie developers looking to target PSVR 2.

There is a ton of overlap with the list of launch day titles announced by Sony. We overhauled this article to include those in addition to games that have been confirmed to arrive at some point on the headset.

We have what seems to be a fairly complete list of PSVR 2 games. Below, you’ll see our top picks along with their trailers and descriptions. The remaining list is available at the bottom of the article.

Top PSVR 2 Highlights

Gran Turismo 7 – [Launch Day]

Gran Turismo 7 will support PSVR 2 at the headset’s launch via a free upgrade for existing owners. The VR implementation looks like a big upgrade over what we saw in GT Sport. Not much else to say ‘sides vroom vroom.

Moss & Moss: Book II – [Launch Day]

Polyarc announced that both Moss and the sequel Moss: Book II are set to be launch titles on PSVR 2 when it releases in February next year, which follows the adventures of a pint-sized hero named Quill who journeys through a world fraught with enemies and plenty of puzzles to boot.

Both are said to include more visual detail such as lighting and texture improvements. Making use of PSVR 2’s hardware, players can expect eye-tracking to highlight key items, a two-controller setup, improved haptics, and adaptive triggers for added immersion when picking up items.

Horizon Call of the Mountain – [Launch Day]

Horizon Call of the Mountain isn’t a log flume ride or hollow VR “experience” like the trailer might suggest. Nay, developed by Sony’s first-party Guerrilla Games and Firesprite Studios, the first VR take on the Horizon universe is going to be an honest to goodness story campaign the devs say will take around seven hours to complete, along with some “additional content” included in the game.

Check out our hands-on here.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – [Launch Day]

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is an action-adventure experience where you’ll take on the role of a droid repair technician operating near the Outer Rim. First introduced on Meta Quest in 2020, this will be the first time this run-and-gun, Star Wars-flavored adventure will be available outside of the Meta ecosystem.

Resident Evil Village – [Launch Day]

Capcom is bringing Resident Evil Village to PSVR 2, and it says the game will provide “an even deeper immersive experience by taking full advantage of the vivid graphics possible with the headset’s 4K HDR display, PlayStation VR2’s eye tracking, PS5’s 3D Audio and more.” Lady Dimitrescu awaits in this free DLC update to the base game!

Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is already available on Quest 2, although this particular version is a classic zombie shooter of another stripe. The game coming to PSVR 2 is actually the remake, so we’re getting all new everything this time around and not just uprezzed textures. We’re hoping the VR support is as good as the Quest 2 version, and decidedly better than RE7 Biohazard, which wasn’t bad, but it is showing its age since it was released in 2017.

Demeo – [Launch Day]

Created by VR veteran Resolution Games, Demeo is a VR take on a tabletop RPG dungeon crawler. It has fared remarkably well on Quest 2 and PC VR headsets since release in 2021, which is in part thanks to its basement-themed, D&D-style action that lets you unite with friends for a tactical gaming night from afar.

Kyak VR: Mirage – [Launch Day]

Paddle through the ice caves in Antarctica, kayak with dolphins in Costa Rica, conquer a thunderstorm in Norway and discover the canyons of Australia. In Kayak VR: Mirage, made exclusively for VR, you can explore these real-world locations with photorealistic graphics.

No Man’s Sky – [Before End of March]

The redemption story continues, as Hello Games vows to bring its space exploration simulator to PSVR 2, including all of the successive patches and DLC drops that took it from procedurally generated empty shell to a universe truly brimming with possibilities.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 – [Before end of March]

This is a full-fat sequel to VR’s most popular games as of late, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. Like the first in the series, you’ll scrounge around a post-apocalyptic New Orleans that’s not only brimming with the undead, but also rival gangs that you can choose to join or battle. Physics-based combat, low ammo supplies, and a very touchy stamina system means you’ll need to think long and hard before running into that crowd of walkers.

Firewall Ultra

It’s not clear how much “new” content we’re getting right out of the bat with First Contact’s next Firewall game, which like the original promises tactical squad-based shooting action across a host of maps, although Firewall Ultra is decidedly the future of the franchise. We can expect to see legacy maps, characters and weapons, but also updates for more of everything down the line.

Walkabout Mini Golf

Indie VR studio Mighty Coconut announced its smash success VR mini-golfing game Walkabout Mini Golf is making its way to PSVR 2. Arguably one of VR’s most favorite social gaming experiences, Walkabout Mini Golf is said to arrive on PSVR 2 “soon”, which is set to include cross-play with all supported versions of the game; this includes versions available through Steam, Meta Quest Store, Viveport, and Pico’s European-facing digital store.

The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR – [Before End of March]

Supermassive Games revealed The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, or what it calls a “fast-paced roller coaster action-horror-shooter where every move you make, and everything you see, could mean the difference between life and death.” Set inside the sinister world of The Dark Pictures Anthology, Switchback VR makes good use of headset eye-tracking: some enemies only move when you blink (Visine not included).

Crossfire: Sierra Squad

Smilegate tossed out a trailer to a brand-new VR game called Crossfire: Sierra Squad, a first-person shooter in the Crossfire universe. The game is played either solo or in co-op mode with up to 4 players on a team as you battle against AI baddies. The studio says there are 39 types of weapons including pistols, rifles, throwable – and throw back-able – grenades and sniper rifles with revolutionary scope mechanics give you plenty of options to dispatch 17 types of enemies.

The Light Brigade – [Launch Day]

Funktronic Labs showed off a new single-player roguelike game called The Light Brigade which it says is “filled with immersive gunplay and moody mystery.” Uncover the mystery of the gloomy ‘Sunken World’ as you climb the ranks of the titular Light Brigade, unlock firearms and unique spells. The Light Brigade will be available for pre-order starting November 15th.

C-Smash VRS

Sega’s futuristic block-breaker, which you might remember from its launch on Dreamcast in 2001 or in arcades throughout Europe and Japan, is being reimagined for PSVR 2 with C-Smash VRS. It’s set to bring an immersive twist to Cosmic Smash’s low gravity squash-meets-blockbreaker gameplay, including single player, co-op, and 1v1 multiplayer modes—that’s what the ‘VRS’ stands for, both virtual reality and versus. Demo out March 23rd. Launch later this year.

Behemoth

Sink into an all new world of danger, survival, and mystery from Skydance Interactive, the creators behind The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. In Behemoth, take on the role of a diseased wanderer lost in the frigid Forsaken Lands. Overcome dangerous environments, deadly warriors, and towering Behemoths using immersive, weighty VR combat and life-like physics. Travel through strange, otherworldly environments and overcome all, no matter how large, that stands in your way. Late 2023.

Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue [Launch Day]

tinyBuild Games and Steel Wool Studios (Five Nights at Freddy’s) announced a VR take on viral indie hit Hello Neighbor, which is coming to both PSVR and PSVR 2 with cross-buy. “Mr. Peterson’s creepy house takes on a new level of immersion in VR, and there is nothing quite as scary as actually seeing that familiar shadow tower over you just before everything goes black,” tinyBuild says.

Pistol Whip VR – [Launch Day]

Cloudhead Games is bringing a free PSVR 2 upgrade to the PSVR version of its award-winning physical action-rhythm game where thrilling gunplay and dynamic tracks collide, creating a dreamscape world for players to blast, duck, and dodge their way through to become the ultimate action hero.

Cities VR – Enhanced Edition – [Launch Day]

With its intial launch on Quest earlier this year, Fast Travel Games managed to bring Cities: Skylines to VR, albeit in a slightly smaller package to run on VR hardware. Smaller, as in the size of your city: you’re actually a Godzilla-sized goliath towering over your little town as you manage all of its buildings and keep up with city planning.

Cosmonious High – [Launch Day]

Owlchemy Labs is known for highly interactive, super approachable VR games, such as award-winning titles Job Simulator and its sequel Vacation Simulator. This one went live a few months ago on Quest and PC VR headsets, and we can’t wait to see PSVR 2’s eye-tracking bring our avatars to life.

Zenith: The Last City – [Launch Day]

From Ramen VR comes the PSVR 2 version of its Kickstarter success story, the MMORPG know as Zenith: The Last City. Promised to be a day-one launch title, there are hundreds of hours of content to chew through in this well-realized VR native.

After The Fall – [Launch Day]

Launched on PC VR, Quest and the original PSVR, Vertigo Games is bringing an enhanced version of the co-op zombie shooter to PSVR 2. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s essentially Left4Dead, but in VR, letting you sweep through levels with friends and strangers as you mow down massive hordes of zombioid baddies. Upgrade your stuff, come back for more.

Jurassic World Aftermath Collection – [Launch Day]

Coatsink originally brought this two-part psychological dino-thriller to Quest, making for a heart-pounding game of cat-and-mouse with a gaggle of Raptor baddies. Use your eyes and ears to alert you to impending doom, and hide from certain death if you can, Make sure to check out our spoiler-free review of both part 1 and 2 on Quest to see what’s in store.

Altair Breaker – [Launch Day]

Initially released on Steam and PSVR, Altair Breker is a map-based sword fighting game from the makers of Swords of Gargantua, Thirdverse. You can team up with three other friends or go it alone as you for an adventure that the studio says its for “players who want to experience stylish sword-fighting action and feel like the hero in an anime world.”

The Last Clockwinder – [Launch Day]

The Last Clockwinder is a puzzle automation game about making synchronized machines out of your own clones. Your mission is to repair the Clocktower: an ancient haven for the galaxy’s plants and seeds that’s fallen into disrepair. It won our PC VR Game of the Year 2022, so it definitively will find a good home on the very capable PSVR 2.

Fantasvision 202X – [Launch Day]

Originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2000, Fantavision is a puzzle game based on the theme of fireworks. The game returns in an all-new title for PS VR2 powered by the Unreal Engine. Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate – [Launch Day]

Marine city, Astrum Close. Crime rate: 0.001%. In this idyllic metropolis, dreams are utilized to ensure crime is prevented before it even happens. Star Wars Day Returns, Here’s How to Celebrate in VR

It seems to come around faster and faster each year, and so once again it’s May 4th, which of course means Star Wars day. Fans love it and everyone else may loath it but the day is now part of geek culture whatever your stance. And when it comes to immersive Star Wars content there’s plenty to choose from, with deals going on as well as special one-day-only content.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge

So let’s start with the brand new stuff that’s arrived, and that’s getting fit in Supernatural on Meta Quest. The fitness app is hosting a special promotion with an exclusive Star Wars Day workout. Supernatural’s  Coach Doc will take players on a heart-pumping workout featuring some of the franchise’s most famous tracks. These are; Main Title, Imperial Attack; Cantina Band, The Imperial March and The Throne Room & End Title.

Do be aware, however, that Supernatural is not only a subscription-based app ($19/month or $179/annually) but its also region locked to North America. So not all Star Wars fans worldwide can access the content.

If you do own a Meta Quest 1 or 2 then not to worry, there are still plenty of other ways to enjoy Star Wars Day. Until 11:59 pm PT on 5th May (7:59 am BST 6th May) there are a bunch of deals available via the Oculus Store, reducing prices by up to 50%.

Star Wars Pinball VR

Meta Quest will also be at Walt Disney World Resort until 21sy July where guests can preview ILMxLAB’s Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge and get free stuff!

As for the rest, here’s all the home Star Wars VR content gmw3 could find:

Should any more Star Wars games come to VR then gmw3 will let you know.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call Makes a Cohesive Whole

Star Wars TFGE Part2

When ILMxLAB launched Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge for Oculus Quest last year it felt like a virtual reality (VR) experience that wanted to tell its own stories away from the main film canon. And it did, partially, showcasing ILMxLAB’s ability to tell rich immersive narratives. The biggest problem was that it was over before it truly gained momentum. That issue has now been put to rest with Last Call, the second part to the title which arrives today.

Star Wars TFGE - Part 2

Last Call is DLC so it’s not quite a second section opening up for players, more a normal videogame expansion. Thankfully, this does mean players get a nice chunk of content to delve into, including several new missions, some additions to Seezelslak’s bar, and more upgrade options to experiment with.

The main campaign centres around the new character Dok-Ondar, an antiquities dealer who’s looking for a very specific relic. This artefact just so happens to be Sith in nature and naturally, the Jedi have hidden it away for safekeeping. You’ve been hired to find it but you’re not the only one on its trail. Cue an adventure into a new part of Batuu, with the mission set across three areas. It’s another tasty slice of Star Wars lore for fans to get into but just like before the gameplay is heavily combat-focused with some light puzzles, so anyone can enjoy the sci-fi adventure which lasts around one hour depending on how many secrets you try to uncover.

With a new mission comes new enemies and weapons, with androids who drop mechanical parts that can be collected and sold at Mubo’s Droid Repair Shop. You can expand your arsenal with a blaster featuring a charge-up mode or a gun that fires explosive tipped arrows. It’s important to pick up those parts and hunt down the elusive mini-droids because Mubo does have some new goodies in-store. From gloves that will automatically heal you to expanding your blaster holsters by equipping two on your back, there are a few ways to upgrade now. One of the most useful is the new hoverpack that enables you to maneuver in the air. You’ll need to have Free Move on but it makes mid-air combat a lot more dynamic.

Star Wars TFGE - Part 2

And then there are the new Tales. These are short but sweet, self-contained mini-adventures where you get to play as notorious assassin droid IG-88 in The Bounty of Boggs Triff or heading back to the High Republic era as Ady’Sun Zee in The Sacred Garden. The Bounty of Boggs Triff is the weaker of the two as IG-88 is absolutely deadly, being able to target multiple enemies to unleash a barrage of blaster fire. However, apart from being able to scan certain objects to complete a side quest, much like the droid itself, the mission doesn’t require much strategy; all you simply do is wander through and shoot.

Even though Last Call is paid DLC, for those that wanted more from Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge the first time around now they should find the entire experience is much more cohesive as a whole. And all the better for it.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call is available today for Oculus Quest priced at $9.99 USD. Or for those that don’t own the videogame yet, it’ll retail for $34.99 with all the content available. For continued VR updates from ILMxLAB, keep reading VRFocus.

The VR Drop: Serving Up a Sci-fi Tale

The VR Drop 10092021

Welcome to another Friday VR Drop, your regular round-up of the virtual reality (VR) videogames due for release in the coming week. The selection features new games, updates and more, plenty to keep virtual reality (VR) players busy for a while.

Cave Digger 2

Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder – VRKiwi

The original Cave Digger was a quirky little title, dropping players in a mining experience all about finding riches and unlocking multiple endings. As the name implies, Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder takes things up a notch with an adventure videogame set within a wild west dieselpunk world. Providing both solo and multiplayer gameplay, you and three friends can mine your way through various biomes, upgrading tools and weapons to aid this dangerous journey deep underground.

Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown – Tin Man Games

Originally released for PlayStation VR in 2019, Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown is a single-player tabletop RPG. A mixture of swashbuckling and sorcery, you lead a party of scoundrels through more than 24 encounters utilising turn-based combat featuring dice, cards, skill checks and over 40 different types of enemy.

Table of Tales: The Crooked Crown

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Part 2 – ILMxLAB

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge arrived last year for Oculus Quest and next week sees the concluding part, adding a whole new roster of characters, main campaign and two smaller side tales. The DLC update is called Last Call and sees you head back into Batuu to recover an ancient artefact whilst the tales see you take on the role of a class four assassin droid IG-88 infiltrating a fortress. The second tale continues Ady’Sun Zee’s narrative set during the High Republic era.

  • Supported platforms: Oculus Quest
  • Launch date: 15th September

Clash of Chefs VR – Flat Hill Games

Leaving Steam Early Access as well as arriving on Oculus Quest for the first time, Clash of Chefs VR serves up a fast and frantic cooking experience where players can tackle an 80 level single-player or go head-to-head in the multiplayer. Chefs are challenged to prepare American, Italian, and Japanese recipes as fast as possible.

‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call’ Paid DLC Releases on Quest Today

ILMxLAB, the immersive entertainment studio from Lucasfilms, is bringing the final installment of its Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge VR game. The in-app paid DLC comes exclusively to Oculus Quest starting today.

Update (September 15th, 2021): ILMxLAB released ‘Last Call’ on Quest today, which is capping the series off with four major stories that will get you doing things like blasting away at pirates and First Order storm troopers, wielding a lightsaber as a Jedi knight, and taking on the role of a highly-skilled assassin droid.

A previous headline suggested Last Call would be a game in its own right, however the content is actually being offered as an in-app paid DLC for $10, which you’ll find within the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge game on Quest.

In order to play, you’ll need have beaten the original story, so if you’ve deleted your previous game progress you’ll need to go back and beat the game again to have access to the new content. The original article (and trailer) announcing Last Call follows below:

Original Article (September 3rd, 2021): The episode, dubbed Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call, is set to feature new tales and adventures that let you explore the wilds of Batuu as you help Dok-Ondar recover an ancient artifact. It’s launching September 15th, coming exclusively to Quest.

In it, you’ll get to explore new environments on Batuu including Sardeevem Chasm and the Cavern of the Moons, which contain the standard smattering of the series’ mainstay: pirates and puzzles.

“Additionally, you stumble upon a hidden First Order facility far, far away from Black Spire Outpost — highly dangerous and growing in secret,” the studio says. “With an unlikely collection of allies including Lens Kamo, Hondo, Mubo, R2-D2, and C-3PO behind you, infiltrate the First Order’s operation and attempt to thwart an evil that threatens all of Batuu.”

There’s also set to be some more Jedi action here too. ILMxLAB gives a brief rundown:

The story of Ady’Sun Zee continues in The Sacred Garden, set in The High Republic era many years after her first Tale. The apprentice has now leveled up into a Jedi Knight, and must teach her Padawan, Nooa, the ways of the Force — while learning some lessons herself.”

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call will be available on the Oculus Quest platform September 15th for $10, or a total of $35 for the full experience which includes the first installment too.

We gave the first a not wholly-unrespectable [6/10] in our review for its fun set pieces and Star Wars wow-factor, although the campaign suffered from a lack of enemy variety and only has a single boss battle. The campaign offers up three-ish hours of gameplay, so it’ll be good opportunity to pop back onto Batuu to see the conclusion of the first’s mostly blaster-heavy story.

You might recognize a few notable voice actors in the trailer. Hondo Ohnaka is voiced by Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh), and Neeva is voiced by Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog). Other notables include Daman Mills (Dragon Ball Super: Broly) voicing stormtrooper leader Lt. Gauge, and Darin DePaul lending his voice to mobster Boggs Triff, known for his work on Overwatch and Final Fantasy XV. The talented Rhys Darby is also playing the assassin droid IG-88, who has previously worked on Yes Man and Flight of the Conchords.

Returning voice talent include Ellie Araiza, Anthony Daniels, Cory Rouse, Bobby Moynihan, Lens Kamo, and Mark Rolston.

Star Wars TFGE Part2

The new trailer comes in at just under three minutes, providing the best preview yet of your next Star Wars adventure whilst unveiling even more characters. New to the roster are:

  • Hondo Ohnaka voiced by Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog)
  • Neeva voiced by Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog, Dreamgirls, Them)
  • Stormtrooper leader Lt. Gauge will be voiced by Daman Mills (Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Final Fantasy VII Remake)
  • Mobster Boggs Triff will be voiced by Darin DePaul (Overwatch, Final Fantasy XV)
  • Assassin droid IG-88 will be voiced by Rhys Darby (Yes Man, Flight of the Conchords)

ILMxLAB has also clarified that Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s EdgeLast Call will feature one main campaign on Batuu with two further side tales rounding out the experience. Heading back into the wilds of Batuu, in Last Call Dok-Ondar gives you a job, recovering an ancient artefact. This will see you explore new locations like the Sardeevem Chasm and the Cavern of the Moons, solving puzzles and dealing with new threats.

Star Wars TFGE Part2

As for the new tales, in The Bounty of Boggs Triff you take on the role of class four assassin droid IG-88, tasked with collecting a bounty on the moon of Nar Shaddaa inside an impregnable fortress. The Sacred Garden continues Ady’Sun Zee’s narrative, set during the High Republic era where she’s now a Jedi Knight with her own padawan to train.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s EdgeLast Call will be arriving for Oculus Quest on 15th September, priced at $9.99 USD. Or if you don’t already own the videogame it’ll be $34.99 all in. Check out the new trailer below and for further updates keep reading VRFocus.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge Part 2 Release Date, Price Revealed

Nearly a year after the launch of its first part, Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call has a release date and price.

The follow-up adventure to ILMxLAB’s compilation of short, interactive VR stories arrives on September 15. It’ll cost $9.99 as a standalone package, or you can get the full game with both parts for $34.99. Check out the trailer announcing the release date below.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge Part 2 Trailer

Last Call will feature yet more stories to discover. Taking refuge on the planet of Batuu — the same planet featured in the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disney park attraction — players live out tales from across the galaxy and take part in their own adventures. This installment will feature two new tales, including the chance to control iconic bounty hunter droid, IG-88, and the continuation of Jedi Knight Ady-Sun Zee’s story from the first part.

You’ll also have new puzzles to solve and have a run-in with the First Order. Plus there’s the return of C-3PO (voiced by Antony Daniels himself) and R2-D2 who, unsurprisingly, is not voiced by anyone.

We thought the first part of Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge was good, but on the short side. “This is the kind of VR game you buy for the source material and end up spending time with for, well, the source material,” we said, awarding the game a ‘Good’ rating. “Ultimately it’s a fun, simple proof of concept that feels like a preview for a larger game that doesn’t exist (yet).”

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Part 2 isn’t the only conclusion to a 2020 Oculus Quest game we’ll see this month. Coatsink’s Jurassic World: Aftermath Part 2 arrives two weeks later.

Teaser Trailer Lands for Part 2 of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars TFGE - Part 2

Oculus Quest exclusive Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge left players wanting more due to its short run time, teasing in its menu that a second part would expand the experience. Developer ILMxLAB revealed the first details several months back and now it has released a teaser trailer along with further story information.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge

Alongside the previously announced Ithorian Dok-Ondar the teaser trailer drops in new characters Lens Kamo, who is voiced by Karla Crome (Murder: Joint Enterprise, Carnival Row) and Baron Attsmun, voiced by Mark Rolston (The Shawshank Redemption, Rush Hour). Baron Attsmun originally appeared in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, an ultra-wealthy industrialist who sells cybernetic parts. He maintains an outward facade of a charitable character but hides a cruel, detached outlook.

While Lens Kamo, on the other hand, is described as: “the badass daughter of scholar parents who developed a healthy respect for history. She went into treasure hunting with the sole purpose of getting artifacts out of sites without harming them, and keeping them out of reach of the destructive collectors.” And just like before, all of these encounters take place within Seezelslak’s Cantina.

“Welcome back to Batuu! Dok-Ondar has pulled up a seat in Seezelslak’s cantina and he has a job for you. The infamous Ithorian sends you deep into the Batuuu wilds in search of a lost artefact. You’ll team up with the relic hunter Lens Kamo and battle against the evil Baron Attsmun,” said Jose Perez III, Director, in a statement. “We are super excited to continue to expand the Star Wars galaxy and hope fans swing by for Last Call.”

Star Wars TFGE - Part 2

“We are over the moons to continue your story as our intrepid deckhand as you spend time with new and familiar characters on Batuu,” said Alyssa Finley, Senior Producer. “With new adventures to go on, two new Tales to experience, and a multitude of new items to buy and try at Mubo’s Workshop, our team can’t wait for fans to jump into Last Call this fall.”

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge Expansion Coming In Fall, New Trailer

The long-promised second part to ILMxLAB’s Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge arrives this Fall, and there’s a new trailer below.

The second part of the adventure is titled ‘Last Call’ and adds more experiences to the game, which launched its first part last year. In Galaxy’s Edge, you travel to the planet of Batuu and take in stories from an alien bartender. Those stories then come to life as interactive adventures.

The trailer shows new characters you’ll meet in the game and some of the puzzles and action sequences you’ll come up against too. There isn’t too much on show and we still don’t have a final release date either, but it seems like we’re getting closer to launch at the very least.

As with the first part, the game will be exclusive to the Oculus Quest platform. We’re expecting it to arrive as a free update for those that already own the experience, but we’ll be reaching out to clarify.

We thought the first part of the experience was good, but lacked content. “As a shooter campaign it’s pretty basic with straightforward levels, uninspired gameplay, and simple enemies,” we said, giving the game 3/5. “But as a piece of Star Wars content, it absolutely sells you on the immersion of it all. It’s a bit brief at just around 4 hours long with a painfully short side story about a Jedi training under Yoda, but it has a great foundation to build from.”
