People in Japan will soon have an opportunity to try out some of the most popular PlayStation VR titles at an open event called PlayStation VR Street, which will features a theme of ‘VR amusement Park’.
The event is due to take place on 3rd-6th May, 2018 at the Roppongi Hills Grand Roof Plaza in Tokyo. Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to try out some of the latest and most popular PlayStation VR titles.
Titles which will be available at PlayStation VR Street will include WipEout Omega Collection, KITCHEN and Eagle Flight. Recently added to the event line-up is Jikyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2018.
Jikyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2018 is part of the popular ‘Power Pro’ series, with virtual reality (VR) gameplay capability that aims to recreate the feeling of standing on a baseball field.
WipEout Omega Collection is the most recent entry in the WipEout franchise, which features futuristic hover cars and a soundtrack containing popular techno artists. PlayStation VR Street will give attendees the chance to try out racing a WipEout vehicle while sitting in a special racing chair that gives a more realistic racing experience.
Also on offer will be Eagle Flight, a title which gives users the opportunity to flay over the skyline of Paris in a world where humanity has vanished, and animals have taken over the streets and landmarks of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.
KITCHEN is the Capcom VR tech demo that was ultimately used as the basis for Resident Evil 7 biohazard. The short horror experience involves waking to find yourself a prisoner is a dilapidated kitchen, trying to escape as terrible events unfold before you.
Advance tickets for the event can be booked through the PlayStation VR Street website, though only people over the age of 12 will be able to try out the PlayStation VR experiences.
