ALLie 360-Degree Camera Expands Retailer Network

For consumers who want to create 360-degree videos there are a growing number of different options available. From the Samsung Gear 360 and Ricoh Theta S, to the 360fly and ALLie Camera. The latter might be one of the least well known but that’s changed this week due to a new distribution deal with Best Buy.

One of the largest brick-and-mortar retailers in the US, along with its online presence BestBuy.com, the company is rolling out stock to select stores across the US, providing customers with another option when looking to record immersive video.

The ALLie Camera features one-click live streaming, 24/7 recording, social sharing, two-way communication, night mode, 4K resolution and virtual reality (VR) viewing capabilities.

“We’ve been working to expand the ALLie camera’s availability since our launch earlier this year, and now we’re really ramping up so more consumers can experience the benefits of true 360,” said Dmitry Kozko, President of ALLie. “The ALLie camera is perfectly suited for Best Buy customers because it’s the only true 360-degree camera that’s always on and allows for one-click live streaming – making it perfect for use in the home and beyond. This is a great place to be as the holiday shopping season approaches.”

It can be purchased through select Best Buy stores and online for $499 USD, and its available in two colours. ALLie also sells two VR head-mounted displays (HMDs), the ALLie VR for $59 and ALLie VR Cardboard for $25, on its official website. The ALLie app is available for free on iOS via the Apple App Store and on Google Play for Android devices.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of ALLie Camera, reporting back with any further updates.
