There are plenty of familiar faces nominated such as Oculus Quest and Rift S both appearing in the hardware category, while Game of the Year features the likes of Blood & Truth, Vacation Simulator and Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs.

“The VR Awards is a platform of growth for the innovators, pioneers and creatives of tomorrow, the finalists announced today deserve to be where they are, and deserve to be celebrated for their outstanding work. The VR Awards strives to recognize all areas of this flourishing industry as it continues to grow,” said Daniel Colaianni, Chief Executive, AIXR in a statement.

Overseen by The Academy of International Extended Reality’s (AIXR) independent VR Advisory panel, over 80 expert judges will deliberate in preparation for the winner announcements which take place on the 11th November 2019. Tickets for the awards are available here.
