To get into high-end consumer virtual reality (VR), Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE) PlayStation VR has been one of the most cost effective solutions, hence why it has sold 2 million plus units so far. Today, SIE has announced a new limited time discount for the headset with several bundles on offer.
Starting from this Sunday 18th February, 2018, customers in North America will be able to head down to their local Walmart, Target, BestBuy or GameStop to get hold of a new PlayStation VR deal. Prices start from $199.99 USD for the Gran Turismo Sport bundle which includes the videogame, headset and the PlayStation Camera.
Next is the PlayStation VR Doom VFR Bundle, which comes with a PlayStation VR headset, PlayStation Camera, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and the Doom VFR Blu-ray Disc, all for $299.99. At the top of the pile is the PlayStation VR Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Bundle. This bundle includes the headset, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PS VR Demo Disc 2.0 and the videogame featuring all official add-ons, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn add-ons for $349.99.
These deals have only been announced for the US, there’s been no mention currently of a European promotion. The bundles are on offer until Saturday, 3rd March 2018.
