Samsung Showcase Tech Products At Macy’s

As Black Friday and Christmas draw ever closer, a number of companies are trying various methods to raise awareness of their products in the minds of customers ready for the critical profit-making period. Samsung are working with famous department store Macy’s to set up a ‘Samsung Experience’ at the Macy’s flagship store in New York.

The specially created 1,000 square foot area on the main floor of Macy’s Herald Square store willl feature a curated range of Samsung’s tech products. Featured products will include Samsung 4K TVs, audio and home cinema products, including blu-ray players and sound bars. There will also be a section dedicated to smartphones, such as Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8 and S8+ and the recently released Galaxy Note 8, along with wireless mobile accessories and cases and wearables, like the Samsung range of fitness trackers the Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro.

The Samsung Gear VR will have a prominent place, powering a 4-D rollercoaster experience that allows customers to try out the technology being the Samsung Gear VR along with additional special effects for an experience that transports them to a new landscape.

“At Macy’s, we are focused on providing what matters most to our customers – an even more engaging shopping experience and the best, most innovative products,” said Marc Mastronardi, Macy’s executive vice president of business development. “With the new Samsung experience at Macy’s Herald Square, we are creating an innovative and beautiful, one-of-a-kind digital playground in a flagship department store, featuring numerous installations and touch points for customer engagement.”

Customers who want to experience the Samsung ecosystem at Macy’s. Including a special concierge-like customer service, can visit the Macy’s Herald Square store during normal opening hours beginning on 1st November, 2017.
