Get 25% off PlayStation VR In-Store at Target this Month

Last week saw Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) celebrate the first anniversary of PlayStation VR with a big sale on PlayStation Store – which is still going. For those living in the US who’ve been tempted by the popular virtual reality (VR) headset but have yet to take the plunge, retailer Target is currently running an offer that might be of interest.

Through the company’s Cartwheel app customers can get a massive 25 percent off the regular price, but only in-store. The deal’s only for the core unit itself, so no PlayStation Camera or Move controllers, even so that’s a great discount and if you don’t have the other accessories you’ve saved some cash to go toward’s their purchase.

Additionally, it looks as though you’ll be able to use a Target Redcard to claim a further 5 percent off – just check in-store first.

You’ll need to be quick mind, the offer expires on 21st October, and the PlayStation Celebration Sale ends tomorrow if you want a software bargain.

This is likely a push by Target to not only cash in on the anniversary but also to clear stock for the new headset. This was revealed earlier this month, adding an updated Processor Unit that supports HDR pass through and an updated design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset.
