Unite Europe Comes to Amsterdam For 2017

More than 1,500 creators of videogaming and interactive entertainment with descend upon Amsterdam from 27th-29th June for Unite Europe to discuss and display new developments in Unity 3D technology.

Figures from Microsoft, Oculus, Google, Facebook, Samsung, Sony, Nvidia, Intel, Nintendo and many more will be appearing at the event to showcase their latest innovations and, in same cases, present keynote speeches to the attendees. Unity themselves will be giving attendees a look at the upcoming Unity 2017.1, including a live demo to showcase some of the key features of the updates engine. Unity will also be offering opportunities for certification as well as providing industry insights and help to both experiences Unity creators as well as those who are new to the Unity engine.

There are more than 60 talks planned, along with instructional demonstrations and curated panels discussing diverse topics such as specifics of videogame development to the optimisation of art processes. There will also be sessions covering things such as a look at Arizona Sunshine, hosted by Vertigo Games, a discussion of designing AR experiences, hosted by Vuforia, and a talk on adapting Unity for the Nintendo Switch.

A ‘Made With Unity Showcase’ is also planned, where attendees will be able to sample and play a curated selection of videogame titles that were developed using Unity. The lineup includes several popular and critically acclaimed titles such as White Elk’s Eclipse: Edge of Light and Beat Saber from Hyperbolic Magnetism.
