Action Shooter SUPERHOT VR Coming To PlayStation VR This Summer

Just before Sony’s E3 2017 press conference, Sony’s pre-show revealed a few titles hitting PlayStation 4 in the near future, with SUPERHOT VR making an appearance. The title has been confirmed for PlayStation VR, and will launch this Summer.

SUPERHOT VR has been available to PC owners for a while now, playable on both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift – and now, finally the bullet-time simulator makes its VR debut on console.

SUPERHOT VR is described by the dev team, SUPERHOT Team, as; “the definitive VR FPS in which time moves only when you move. No regenerating health bars. No conveniently placed ammo drops. It’s just you, outnumbered and outgunned, grabbing the weapons of fallen enemies to shoot, slice, and manoeuvre through a hurricane of slow-motion bullets.”

The game will be launching for PlayStation VR in “a couple of weeks” – so we can assume August at the latest.

SUPERHOT had heaps of critical acclaim at launch, and its VR version received equal praise. We can only assume the PlayStation VR version will be equally beloved.

The SUPERHOT Team have a great sense of humour too – if you haven’t already, make sure to watch the trailer for SUPERHOT’s HTC Vive release.

SUPERHOT VR will make its way to PlayStation VR this Summer.
