Viveport Subscription Service Doubling Content to Over 150 Titles

Back in April HTC Vive’s online content platform Viveport launched its subscription service, allowing users to pay a monthly fee for a select number of videogames which could be swapped out every month. Today the company has announced that the amount of titles available for Viveport Subscription will now be doubled, giving gamers even more choice.

The Viveport Subscription service is adding more than 75 new titles to its library, bringing the total number to more than 150. These include ROM: Extraction, Knockout League, Overkill, Cosmic Trip and Sairento VR as well as over two dozen apps that have never been made available outside of Asia before.

“With Viveport Subscription, we want to give customers an easy and affordable way to experience more amazing VR content for a low monthly fee,” said Rikard Steiber, President of Viveport at HTC Vive. “We are doubling the number of available titles to over 150 with new bestsellers and a wide range of content available in the West for the first time. We want to offer VR developers the most ways to monetise their content, and they now have an additional channel to reach new audiences and generate more revenue.”

Viveport Subscription is available for £6.99 GBP a month and currently offers new customers a free, no-obligation trial for the first month. They can then choose unlimited access to five titles each month. At the end of the month if they continue with the service they can continue with what they’ve got or change any of them for something new.

Today’s announcement sees the biggest addition of content since Viveport Subscription began. Last month Great Pyramid VR, Spacetours VR – EP1 The Solar System, Frontier VR, MakeVR, VR Home, Solitaire VR, Arcade Saga, OuijaVR and Alcatraz: VR Escape Room.
