Japanese developer Jetman has recently released its first trailer for PlayStation VR experience Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku.
The video is a teaser to say the least, revealing very little about the videogame or its gameplay. With dramatic music and fleeting imagery, the trailer will certainly leave viewers with more questions than answers.
VRFocus first reported on Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku back in November 2016, sought financial support through camp-fire.jp. This virtual reality (VR) title is being made by the same team that created the original Japanese cult hit for the PlayStation back in 1997.
The original Kowloon’s Gate was an adventure video game where the demolished Kowloon Walled City suddenly reemerged. Seen as a sign of imbalance between the realm of Yin, and the living world of Yang, this event would need to be reversed or disaster would strike. For the VR version players will be able to walk around the city, as it twists and changes.
Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku, is scheduled to release this summer in Japan for PlayStation VR, as yet there’s no word on a release for western players.
VRFocus will continue its coverage of PlayStation VR and all the latest titles announced for the headset.
