Hit Gear VR Puzzle Game Neverout Finally Releases On HTC Vive And Oculus Rift

HTC Vive and Oculus Rift owners with a penchant for entrapment will be overjoyed – SETAPP’s claustrophobic Neverout has hit both Oculus Home and Steam, just as they announced last week.If you’ve been looking for new immersive puzzler to jump into, this might be for you.

Described by VRFocus as “an experience that stands up to last year’s big releases,” Neverout released to widespread positivity.

With each stage set in a cube, the player must navigate through a grid and solve electrifying puzzles in a dingy industrial atmosphere – the run time of approximately five hours might put some off, but by all accounts it’s a great experience made all the more immersive with virtual reality (VR).

For control options, SETAPP have provided a range of solutions, including Oculus Touch and HTC Vive’s motion-controllers, in addition to Oculus Remote and Xbox One controller support.

In addition to controller support, Neverout will also look superior with graphics enhanced when compared to its Gear VR counterpart, offering a full, sharp HD experience.

To add to the package, SETAPP have introduced a comfort mode to ease those inexperienced with VR into the experience, hopefully alleviating any simulation sickness concerns – this mode allows players to warp around their environment slowly, instead of having to navigate the enclosed spaces with a controller.

All of it shapes up to be the best way to experience SETAPP’s intriguing puzzler, now available at a special promotional price of £6.39 GBP, or $9.99 USD.
