Following ITV’s successful collaboration with media company Goodstuff on the Cheltenham Racing Festival earlier this year, the two companies are teaming up again to give fans of horse racing a 360-degree view of the action.
The Grand National is one of the most well-known horse racing events and is watched by a large audience. ITV hopes to let that audience get a better look into the Grand National by placing 360-degree cameras around the course to capture footage will will be edited, stitched together and processed on-site into a highlights recap which will be available online the next day.

The Grand National will be taking place on Saturday 8th April at Aintree. It will be the first time that ITV has shown the event. 360-degree footage from the day will be available on ITV’s YouTube channel and Facebook page on Sunday 9th April, the day after.
