Take a Musical Underwater Journey with Seabed Prelude for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive

Last week MythicOwl launched a teaser trailer for its first virtual reality (VR) title Seabed Prelude. Today the videogame has launched for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift with Touch support.

Set in a post-apocalyptic underwater future where players find themselves as Captain of a bathyscaphe, Seabed Prelude mixes detective elements with a musical adventure. Gameplay revolves around clearing the ancient tracks between forgotten underwater cities using a powerful pipe organ as a weapon, or alternatively, a system of tesla coils. By playing notes correctly in the single-player campaign players advance from station to station and in doing so uncover a dark plot hatched by a group called the Constructors.

“After launching Note Fighter on mobile last year we are excited to bring our passion for music games to VR with Seabed prelude”, said Tomasz Mularczyk, CEO of MythicOwl. “It’s a unique take on the music game genre that will have players floating through an ethereal environment, surrounded by music”.

Seabed Prelude is now available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on Steam for: $7.99 USD/ £5.59 GBP/ €7.99 EUR. There’s currently a limited time 20 percent discount available until 3rd March.
