VR Ping Pong Coming to PlayStation VR Next Week

Last July Merge Games Ltd. published Italian studio, Reddoll Srl’s virtual reality (VR) title VR Ping Pong for HTC Vive. Today the publisher announced the video game will now support PlayStation VR, with a launch scheduled for next week.

Supporting the PlayStation Move controller, VR Ping Pong transports players into a voxel-style universe where they can practice their skills against a range of AI opponents. Set in stadiums with fully animated audience members, who’ll change their reactions depending on how matches progress, VR Ping Pong includes four main gameplay modes: Practice, Single Match, Tournament and Arcade.

Start off with a few practice rounds first, getting a feel for the video game and its mechanics. Then step up to Single Match, for players that want to play a single basic match against the AI. Tournament is the main mode for serious ping pong players who want to become champions. While Arcade features a range of challenges such as TT Machine, Serve Mode, Hit The Target, Goal and more. VR Ping Pong doesn’t feature a multiplayer but the Arcade mode does include online leaderboards.

VR Ping Pong launches onto the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, 7th February, 2017 priced $14.99 USD / €14.99 EUR /£11.99 GBP. For any further updates, keep reading VRFocus.
