Viveport’s Play at Home Sale Offers Massive Reduction on Infinity Subscription

As a lot of you reading this might be stuck at home at the moment looking for things to pass the time, delving into virtual reality (VR) can be a great escape. But if you’ve already rinsed your library of content and want to save a few pennies then Viveport Infinity’s latest offer could be what you’re looking for, offering hundreds of titles for a low monthly cost.

Viveport Infinity

Called the Play at Home sale, for a limited time the VR subscription service is dropping the price of its annual option. Instead of £8.99 GBP ($8.99 USD) per month – working out to £107.88 a year – the sale drops that down to £2.25 per month, totalling £27 ($27) for an entire year. Making Viveport Infinity even better value for money.

The sale runs until this Sunday, 19th April, available in the following countries: US, Canada, France, UK, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, Spain, Russia, and South Korea. As Viveport is hardware agnostic, it’ll support headsets like HTC Vive, Vive Pro, Vive Focus, Oculus Rift/Rift S, Valve Index, Samsung Odyssey, Samsung Odyssey Plus, Pico Neo, Pico G2 and more. It’ll even support Oculus Quest via Oculus Link.

Then from Monday onward for those that missed the deal, Viveport will offer smaller discounts across its content lineup.

Viveport Infinity

While it might not offer anywhere near the same amount of VR content as Steam, Viveport Infinity still has a diverse library of apps, videogames and videos on the platform, over 750 in fact. Access to all of these is unlimited via Viveport Infinity, offering titles like The Morrigan, Scraper: First Strike, OhShape, Creed: Rise to Glory, Tilt Brush, Witching Tower and BoxVRMonthly subscribers also get benefits like discount coupons, exclusive offers, and free games to keep in their library forever.

If you’re looking at buying into VR then HTC Vive’s range of headsets don’t seem to be having stock issues, with the standard Vive Cosmos available for £699 – and it comes with six month’s Viveport Infinity free. What you won’t get with the subscription service is the hot VR videogame of the moment, Half-Life: Alyx which is only on Steam. But you can get a free copy of Valve’s latest sci-fi epic when purchasing the Vive Cosmos Elite at £899.
