Via the PlayStation Blog today, Tam Armstrong, Game Developer & Co-Founder, Polyarc, has confirmed the release will happen on 27th February, 2018. Moss will appear at 12 am ET Tuesday 27th or 9 pm PT on Monday, 26th (Tuesday, between 1-5 am GMT) on PlayStation Store, retailing for $29.99 USD. You can still pre-order Moss via the digital store, gaining access to an exclusive dynamic PlayStation Theme and PlayStation Avatar featuring Moss’s hero Quill and her idyllic forest home.

First announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 in June, Quill’s adventure sees her solving puzzles and exploring a larger-than-life world of caves, forests, and foreboding ruins that are filled with ancient artifacts, mysterious creatures, and sprawling views.

Part cinematic, part gameplay, the new Moss trailer provides a glimpse of Quill’s story, more gameplay scenarios including puzzles and the enemies encountered on route plus some of the gorgeous environments, from idyllic forests and sandy beaches to cavernous temples.

It’s certainly one videogame VRFocus has been looking forward to playing in 2018, having wrote a glowing preview of Moss  back in June 2017, saying: “After just one short play, the tease of more taxing puzzles and the forming of a non-verbal relationship with the adorable Quill is very compelling.”  VRFocus also sat down with Polyarc’s Chris Alderson who works as the Art Director on Moss at the time.

“We hope this latest preview of Moss conveys what we set out to do: make a game that everyone can enjoy—early VR adopters, casual gamers, and truly, anyone looking for an exciting new experience,” commented Armstrong. For any further updates for Moss, keep reading VRFocus.
