Numskull Unveils Official PlayStation VR Stand

If you received a PlayStation VR this Christmas you’ve likely been demoing it to as many people as possible whilst getting some game time yourself, however what to do with the head-mounted display (HMD) when its not being used? Well, peripheral manufacturer Numskull has come come up with its own solution, an officially licensed Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) PlayStation VR stand.

Made up of an obsidian head and chrome base, the stand has an adjustable height mechanism ranging from 38cm – 48cm. The unit also comes with a velcro strap to keep the the PlayStation VR’s cables neat and tidy. The entire unit can be purchased for £29.99 GBP.

Numskull - PlayStation VR Headset

The Numbskull stand isn’t the first VRFocus has reported on for SIE’s headset. In September – prior to the launch of PlayStation VR – POWER A released the POWER A Charge & Display Stand for PSVR. Retailing for $49.99 the product not only displays the PlayStation VR but it also charges one DualShock 4 controller and two PlayStation Moves.

Also available is the PlayStation VR Showcase Rapid AC Charge & Display Stand  from Collective Minds. This is another multi-function device, supporting charging space for two PlayStation Move controllers, two DualShock 4 controllers and a USB port to charge Sony Gold gaming headphones for $34.99.
