Two of virtual realities (VR) leading production companies Jaunt and RYOT have had a longstanding partnership distributing and producing immersive 360-degree experiences. Through Jaunt’s app viewers can watch some of RYOT’s documentary style storytelling and now the two companies have extended that partnership further.
Jaunt has launched a stand-alone RYOT-branded world within its app, serving as a dedicated space for users to experience immersive content exclusively by RYOT. Furthermore additional RYOT titles have also been added.
The new pieces featured in the RYOT world include: Toxic Tour, which traces oil’s devastating legacy in the northern Ecuadorian Amazon, mapping out what could happen to the rest of the country’s Amazonian reserves and remaining uncontacted tribes if oil companies begin drilling there.

The Jaunt VR app is available for a wide variety of platforms including iOS, Android, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and on desktops.
